A modular formula

We plan two different possibilities of itinerary, on weekly base: a) beginner; b) advanced.

a) The basic itinerary will include the following subjects. We‘ll be able to emphasize some of these subjects (for example the cinematographic writing, or the alphabet of the camera take), according to the clients’ needs:
What is a story:
- Which characteristics has a story for the cinema?
- What is a film?
- The film’s elements
- The narrative structure and its implications
The rules of the cinematographic art
- The grammar of the cinematographic tale.
- Phases of film’s elaboration
- The film’s production, managerial and economical aspects.
- Direction and assemblage, form and style.
The cinema‘s market.
Practices on fixed subjects.
Narrative hypothesis and projects of the participants.

b) The advanced course evidences one of the three fundamental areas to make a film: production, writing and direction. Between the treated subjects according to the directions (in some cases as common themes to all the three areas):

- Techniques of writing
- Fight/action
- Overpassing the structure
- Techniques of staging..
- Budget and pre-production
- The work concerning the actor: parts/dialogues
- Analysis of the text/writing
- Analysis of the text/writing
- Professional and legal aspects, auto-entrepreneurial

The hours in red, are used to master. They will be dedicated to the developing of individual subjects, projection of film to analyze, and to exercise about he same (workshop).
The frequency of these hours will be free: the attendees will be able to decide to attend, when to attend, which hours to attend (and which ones not).

The didactic itineraries will be able to have a “brief” articulation too . In this case, there will be “concentrated” during the weekend, according to following timetable form : 3+3+3+3

The intensive week end courses will be concentrated on the subjects we spoke about before, which will be developed, also with practical exercise related to the developing or estimation of projects or to value and editing of dossiers of camera take, short films or more.

Whom is it addressed to?

The weekly course “cinema on holiday” gives a clever alternative to “relaxed” holiday.
It’s addressed to all who love the cinema and would like to master the techniques for their own pleasure or for job.
To all who would like to start and they don’t know where to start.
To all who prefer a interesting and relaxing holiday in a unique landscape.

What shall we propose?

“Cinema on holiday” want to give some rudiments to who would like to approach the cinema and in general to the production and fruition of audiovisuals; to teach the fundamental techniques and to exercise them, through individual and collective exercises. You’ll be able to attend masters on specific aspects in the late afternoon. Those ones are addressed especially to all who want to “improve”. The weekly advanced courses have the same intention .

What will you do when you don’t study?

“Cinema on holiday” was thought to gather together the holidays ‘ needs, the relax, and study’s needs.
The hours dedicated to the course are in the morning, but they let time, in the afternoon, to excursions (organized or not), hours on the beach, shopping, sightseeing in towns, visiting historical monuments.
Every night, except on Sunday, is free for amusement or evening events expressly organized .
